What essential oils should I avoid during pregnancy
During pregnancy any essential oils that mimic a hormonal response should be avoided as a precautionary measure. These oils include – but aren’t limited to – Basil, Camphor, Hyssop, Pennyroyal, Sage, Savory, Thuja, Wintergreen, Clary Sage, Rosemary, Juniper, Thyme, Bay Leaf, Tarragon and Aniseed. Always consult your aromatherapist and/or physician before using essential oils when pregnant or breastfeeding.
